Blue skies again...........sorry, but so far beautiful weather, know the winters will come, but as they say "lets make hay while the sun shines" - nothing quite like the English warm days as you don't get hot and sweaty, but they are warm and long and perfect, in fact a lot like SA in about April or May.
Mildred and I had a marathon session today and let me tell you there is nothing nothing nothing in the world like a big steam press - I literally had about 4 loads to iron....most of which is generated by my beautiful son (lol), and it took me less than an hour to iron, fold and put away....definitely my kind of ironing.
Phillip off on a play date this afternoon and then to a "Sausage Sizzle" at Beavers until 19h30 this evening so Megs and I are on our own...enjoyed lunch together at a local coffee shop and then some shopping in preparation for Linda's visit - really really nice to spend some "Girl Time" together, but she did admit for the first time that although she likes England very much, it would have been nice for a holiday as she is starting to miss South Africa now and her Granny and Papa ....guess to be expected and we will help her through it, she isn't devastated or pinning or anything, just starting to realise that this is the real deal.
