Tonight while I was sitting in my room settling Nicholas, I began thinking about my mom's eminent departure, and the thought fills me with terror....how on earth am I going to cook, wash, iron, dust, clean, raise my two older children, handle homework and keep my husband happy all while meeting the ever increasing demands of my littlest, with Megan and Phillip I had Rose to handle the house and I only had to handle the family - I know that millions of women all over England are doing it, I just don't know how!
For the two months that my mom has been with us she has been the wind in our sails and the keel keeping our ship going in the right direction, with her help we haven't really felt the demands of our baby and now that she is going I think the true impact is going to hit us like an earthquake, without warning and wrecking absolute havoc, and I am absolutely terrified!

oh my precious friend.....all you need to do is this -
1.cook meals and freeze them and also stock up on fast healthy options, being organized will free you up big time around suicide hour.
2. set aside days to do certain household cleaning chores, if it doesnt happen on that SAID day then it simply rolls over to the next.only allow yourself one day roll over so it doesnt get put off too long
3. your kiddies are lovely and capable of doing a quick vacuum and a spray and a wipe in their rooms - i know mine love it and have taken a huge pride in their own spaces....so that sure does help me out.
4. as your home isnt a show house and it is a home with a small baby in it - remind yourself that some things simply can wait for the next day or so - i promise you nobody is gonna know and most certainly no-one will judge you harshly.
5. keep a sense of humour and always always make some time out for you, cause if you get burn out the entire SHIP goes down!!!!
6. we have operation clean up every saturday morning for an hour - all hands on deck situation - it is quick it is fun it is FAIR. we all get stuck in and it gets done in a flash...also good life skill for the kiddies and hubby - we are TEAM ANDREW not SOLO LINDA
you are loved and adored and have many ladies to lean on and call up and share a cry with - dont try be tough - lean on us all - we love and adore you oh so terribly much. you will be fine !!
