Wonderful News
On collecting Megan and Shannon from school today Megan's head teacher asked me if she could have a quick word......of course my heart started pounding (I really gotta start trusting my kids).......well there was no need for adrenalin, it was simply to let me know that Megan has had her reading retested and has improved so dramatically that she will no longer need extra time in her exams. She is still entitled to a reader if she wants one but at least all her time and hard work is paying off.

Oh, well done to Megan. That must be a huge relief to you. Children certainly amaze us!!
Well done Megan. You are so lucky to have the extra help without all the problems attached as it is here. Erin is in a remedial school and now I hear that to main stream her could be impossible. Oh well she is happy.
Children truly are amazing and as adults we should be envious of their capacity to learn and adapt. Well done, Megs. Keep up the hard work but more importantly, enjoy reading, it's your gateway to a wonderful world! Andy, I'll be away on a busines trip til next week so won't be here to wish you happy birthday but please have a wonderful day and know that you are loved!
